Terms and Conditions
Last updated: September 8, 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the LaxIT website, courses, combo offers, subscriptions, live classes, the CodeXpress coding IDE, and all related services (together, the "Service"), operated by LaxIT ("LaxIT", "we", "us", "our"), based in Surat, Gujarat, India. By creating an account, making a payment, or otherwise using the Service, you ("User", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information (name, email, phone number) and verify your account via the OTP process where required. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Users under 18 should have a parent or guardian's consent to register and make purchases.
2. Courses, Combos, and Subscriptions
LaxIT offers access to chaptered video courses, combo bundles, live instructor-led classes, and monthly/yearly all-access subscription plans, as described on the relevant course, combo, or pricing page at the time of purchase. Course/combo access durations (e.g. 1, 3, 6, 12 months, or full/lifetime) and subscription billing periods are as stated on the checkout page for that purchase. Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
3. Payments
All payments are processed through our third-party payment gateway partner, CCAvenue. LaxIT does not collect or store your card, UPI, or net-banking credentials on its own servers - these are handled directly by CCAvenue and its banking partners. By making a payment you confirm you are authorized to use the chosen payment method. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy for how payment issues are handled.
4. License to Use the Content
Upon successful payment, LaxIT grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the purchased course, combo, or subscription content for personal, non-commercial, educational use only, for the duration of that purchase. You may not download, copy, reproduce, publicly display, resell, sublicense, rent, or otherwise distribute any course video, material, or CodeXpress output outside the platform. Sharing your login credentials or purchased access with anyone else is prohibited and may result in suspension of your account without refund.
5. Intellectual Property
All course content, video lessons, chapter materials, the LaxIT name and logo, the CodeXpress IDE, and all associated software, design, and text are the intellectual property of LaxIT or its licensors and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of that intellectual property to you.
6. CodeXpress AI Coding IDE
CodeXpress lets you write, run, and receive AI-generated feedback on code in supported languages. Code you submit is processed using third-party services (including a code-execution sandbox and an AI model provider) solely to run your code and generate feedback. AI-generated explanations and feedback are provided for learning purposes only, may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete, and should not be treated as a substitute for instructor review. Do not submit confidential, proprietary, or unlawful code or content through CodeXpress.
7. Live Classes
Live classes are conducted through a third-party video conferencing service and are subject to scheduling by instructors, which may change with reasonable notice. Recordings, where made available, are for enrolled students only and are subject to the same license restrictions as course content. Users must behave respectfully during live sessions; disruptive or abusive conduct may result in removal from a session or suspension of access.
8. User Conduct
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other users' accounts, or LaxIT's systems; (c) upload viruses, malware, or disruptive code; (d) harass, abuse, or impersonate any student, tutor, or staff member; or (e) circumvent any access, payment, or content-protection mechanism. Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.
9. Certificates
Where a course offers a completion certificate, it is issued based on completion criteria set by LaxIT and reflects participation/completion only; it does not constitute a government-recognized degree or diploma unless explicitly stated.
10. Third-Party Services and Links
The Service may link to or rely on third-party services (including but not limited to CCAvenue, a code-execution sandbox, an AI model provider, video-conferencing, and email delivery providers). LaxIT is not responsible for the content, policies, availability, or practices of these third parties, which are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. LaxIT does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that outcomes such as job placement or skill acquisition are guaranteed by completing any course.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LaxIT and its founder, employees, tutors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. LaxIT's total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to LaxIT for the specific purchase giving rise to the claim.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LaxIT and its founder, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.
14. Suspension and Termination
LaxIT may suspend or terminate your account, without refund, for violation of these Terms, fraudulent payment activity, or misuse of the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time; see our Refund and Cancellation Policy regarding the effect of stopping use on any amounts already paid.
15. Changes to These Terms
LaxIT may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Surat, Gujarat, India.
